Spring trend: Colored/printed denim… cute now or back when I was in 6th grade?

A popular trend back in the mid to late eighties was colored and printed denim.  I remember wearing these back in my late years of grade school.  Fast forward to today, the trend has returned with a vengeance.  Open up a popular retailer’s catalog, sales flyer or website and you see them everywhere. 

 

I admit, I was a little hesitant to jump on the trend bandwagon again… after all, I’m not 11 anymore.  But the pretty spring colors and prints started to grow on me, and with these good deals I found, I thought what the heck… I’ll give it a try and if I decide that this is a trend that should have never passed 6^th grade, at least I can return them.

I bought all of the jeans from Kohl’s website (links provided).  We have a Kohl’s store nearby but I always have better luck finding more sizes, styles and colors on their website.  Plus, with the 30% off and free shipping code (with Kohl's credit card), the deal was that much sweeter.
